A simple press of this transmitter will send a signal to change the on/off state of lightning switch receivers. Each side of the transmitter button sends out it's own signal code, allowing the independent control of two separate receivers/circuits from one transmitter. Typical range is 60+ feet.

All Lightning Transmitters are self-powered (require no batteries) - the action of pushing the switch generates the electricity required to send the wireless signal.

This Transmitter emits two different "Toggle" codes depending on which side of the button is pushed (a toggle code tells a learnt receiver to change state from on to off, or visa versa). As a result, this one transmitter can independently control two different receivers/circuits. This transmitter can be wall-mounted (with adhesive pad or screws, both of which are included) or screwed directly onto an existing switchbox (the holes in the outer frame line up with the holes on any standard switchbox). The frame is just slightly larger than a standard single switchplate to allow it to fully cover an existing single switchbox as well as the small paint chips that often occur when removing old switchplates.
